Speech Therapy Boards

Ok, you may not know that I have a job now......well.....it's always been my job, but now it's funner!!  My daughter is a Speech Therapy Assistant and I get to be her assistant.  Since she is in a wheelchair, I'm allowed into the specialized world of Speech Therapy.  Now while seeing all the kiddos is a BLAST, and the work is really fun, I also have been able to decorate her room for this year.
Now teachers all over the world have been doing bulletin board designs forever, but now I GET TO!!

The campus where she does most of her Speech Therapy has a general "Camping" theme going on throughout the entire school.  It's so cute!  Some of the teachers were very creative.  They have to look at the boards all year so they really have made them interesting!!

I became inspired....my daughter gave me full reign on the boards while she organized her schedule for the year.  What fun I had.  These are the ones I made targeting Speech Therapy and her AWARDS board.  Some were originals and some she pulled off of Pinterest (Ok, I admit it) but ALL were fun and I gave them my own personal touches.

Hope you enjoy!

This last photo is of the "Lightening Bugs" we give each student who behaves and listens to instruction during their time in Speech.  Just yellow pom poms glued to clear push pins.  Hot Glue worked the best for us.  The kiddos love them!!!!

Will & Krisann's Wedding

An outside wedding can always have it's problem, however this one was meant to be for this delightful couple.  Nice and comfortable DRY weather, isn't that hard to get in Texas in May.

And as usual…..the highlight of the show (after the weather turned out well) were the cutest little flower girls EVER!!

The Mother of the Groom made these adorable dresses with head bands sporting the same flowers to wear in their hair.
So fitting for the outdoor setting and those precious girls thought they were princesses.

Rehersal Dinner 5-23-13

Our Rehersal Dinner for Will and Krisann went off with out a hitch, well except for the rain. The wedding part was able to get there before we had to move the tables inside, but the rain did come.

The wildflowers were gorgeous, and gave the whole scene a relaxed yet beautiful feel.

The door was so cute! Our thanks to Michelle!

The tables were set up on the terrace patio. Very informal, relaxing and inviting. Just like Krisann wanted.

The flowers were picked fresh and looked lovely where ever they were placed. I loved the random beauty of them . And of course they all belonged to Marsha.
